About the Neighborhood:

The shores of Lake Gregory are only 4 miles away.  There are beaches, lifeguard towers and a waterslide.  You can rent boats at the boat dock or just day camp with your family along the shore.  The California Department of Fish and Game stocks rainbow trout in the lake and the fishing is free because the lake is a San Bernardino County Regional Park...



 

A fitness and hiking trail with rest stops and exercise stations extends the entire 2 1/2 mile perimeter of the lake. We took these pictures while walking on the trail...






On the lake, there is a senior center near San Moritz Lodge, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, and a  baseball / soccer field...

Many kids like to play adventure games in the National Forest!  There is a new skate park in town that is free for all kids...

3 to 15 miles away are Snow Valley Ski Resort, Lake Arrowhead Village and a hang gliding air park...  

 

The property is only 13 miles from Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area where the mountains meet the high desert by using State Highway 138 or a number of OHV State roads.  The Striper Bass fishing is fantastic with record size fish in excess of 50 pounds...

Silverwood Lake Recreation Area has many beaches, picnic areas and campsites, a Marina, dry storage and boat slips that can accommodate watercraft up to 27 feet.  Guest slips are only $10 per night and the water skiing is just as great as the fishing...

Newport Harbor on the Pacific Ocean is only an hour and a half away.  You can rent a guest slip with hook ups for $30 per night which includes private showers and bathrooms...
